Wheelock College Class of 2007 graduate Daniel Gonzalez talks about why he transferred to Wheelock College, his experience at Wheelock, and what he has been able to do since graduating.
Daniel says the biggest advantages at Wheelock are the small classes, tight-knit community, and one-on-one attention from faculty. He said taught early education before starting a film company in North Carolina, and was a youth coordinator for the Obama administration’s reelection campaign. He also started an LGBT-based, non-profit arts company called Color Continuum, which provides art by the LGBT community, for the LGBT community. Daniel says he was prepared to do these things because of the wide variety of classes he took at Wheelock, including education, political science, and child development.
