Volunteerism is the Heart of Wheelock

{0 Comments}

Volunteers are arguably any organization’s most valuable resource. People working together for the betterment of their community create a powerful force, something that Wheelock cultivates by empowering students to forge partnerships with local communities. Wheelock’s mission-centered approach to engagement makes the College a leader in higher education with 85% of Wheelock students participating in community service activities.

As part of Giving Day, the Development and Alumni Relations Office is looking for Giving Day Ambassadors. Responsibilities include social media promotions and/or phone and email messages to your fellow Wheelock classmates. More importantly, Ambassadors play a role in connecting alumni to the College and inspiring our entire community to speak out about what Wheelock means to them.

We hope that you will join us and not only make a gift, but share YOUR story about what Wheelock means to you. Join our community on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to post about why support for Wheelock is important to you. Use the hashtag #wheelockgivingday. Tell a friend and ask them to join you in making a gift and sharing a story on Giving Day. Join on-campus festivities. We can’t wait to celebrate Wheelock with you!

For more information on becoming an online or on campus Giving Day Ambassador, visit the Giving Day Ambassador webpage or email Emilia in the Development and Alumni Relations Office at esalazar@wheelock.edu.
