PHOTOS: La Herencia Latina Celebrates Dia de los Muertos

{0 Comments}

Dia de los Muertos is a holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and Central America. It focuses on family and friend gatherings to pray for those who have passed away and support their spiritual journey.

On November 2, 2015, we created an altar display to represent those who have passed away. On the display, we placed photos of Hispanic celebrities that have made a big impact on the Latino/a community. We had various tables for face painting, coloring, cookie decorating, and a table with items and objects for people to place on their own, to represent someone they have lost.
