Season’s greetings from the Aspire Institute at Wheelock College!

We have had an incredible year! At Wheelock we continue to deliver services to build on Lucy Wheelock’s vision to improve the lives of children and families.

Over the last several months, we have delivered dozens of trainings to teachers and school leaders in local school districts, including Boston, Cambridge and throughout Massachusetts. This academic year, we have continued to utilize our Teacher Support Program to emphasize the need for culturally-relevant pedagogy in education. Further, we continue to offer support to the birth-through-5 educational community through our Connected Beginnings Training Institute throughout the greater Boston region and beyond.

Our work at Aspire continues this coming spring with a forum on “Trauma and Resilience,” with a focus on families and communities on February 9, 2018. We hope that you will consider joining us for this free event! Learn more about the event and register today!

We look forward to sharing more 2018 programming with you in the new year. As always, we welcome your feedback and input. Have a wonderful holiday season!

Warmest regards,
Kenann McKenzie-Thompson, Ph.D.
Executive Director
